LUFASI Nature Park is located just after Shoprite at Sangotedo just at the entrance of Ibeju Lekki. Lufasi park is family-centric, cool, quiet, and home to many celebrity video shoots.
LUFASI is an acronym for Lekki Urban Forestry and Animal Shelter Initiative: a non-governmental organisation established in 2013 and dedicated to the preservation of natural habitats in urban areas for use as a field laboratory to interact with and learn from nature. Lufasi park is a nature reserve founded by Desmond Majekodunmi.
Lufasi nature park is open Mondays to Saturdays from 9am to 6pm and Sundays 12 Noon to 6pm. The Gate fee at Lufasi in 2021 is N1000 per Adult and N500 per child. There is also a shop to buy drinks and water within the park and you are free to bring in your own food.

1. Visit the Rehabilitation center for animals
The rehabilitation center at Lufasi park that houses Monkeys, pangolins, tortoises etc. There are also nicely done wooden seats in the shape of mushrooms where you can sit and watch the animals.
2. Consider camping with other people
Nature parks are a no brainer for camping as a serene environment and one with nature.
3. Go fishing
There are 2 major lakes within the nature reserve and there is a tale of it being a couple; Moses and Nora who stay connected eternally in the form of these lakes. This lake houses several fishes including tilapia and amphibians.
4. Picnicking
Nothing looks better and feels better than picnicking at a place with lots of greenery. The greenery, trees, animals and noise free zone makes it one of the best location to picnic in lagos.
5. Kayaking
Lake Moses which is the biggest and deepest lake within Lufasi can be used for kayaking but booking needs to be made long before your planned date.
6. Bird watching
There are several species of bird to watch in the park and you can find more bird when you visit the Eki Forest within the nature reserve.
